AI4Women statistics landing page

The PI assigned a time-sensitive task: ship a lightweight but standalone single-stat–driven home-style page, with room for clickable prototypes ahead of the deadline so copy and imagery could be refined.

Launch policy: the page was not exposed under the main site’s public Portal button until the team was ready—internal review first.

Branding: header and footer carry both AI4WOMEN and LABS marks; background colors were tuned to match (including model-assisted palette suggestions).

Live site: https://labs-laboratory.com/ai4women/ (see Portals on the LABS home page; content is maintained by the lab.)

Visuals and information architecture

Unlike a simple reskin of an existing portal, this page needed a distinct color system and chrome to foreground women-in-AI themes—not only swapping hero blocks. After layout/style drafts were approved, implementation and mobile polish followed on a tight calendar.

Delivery cadence

  • UI drafts mid-cycle; build after a clear “direction approved” signal.
  • Work on a feature branch; mobile pass before PR to reduce churn while the PI edited main.
  • Post-merge PI polish; TeaChart and other portals tracked as separate streams.

Resume-ready summary

Built a standalone AI4Women statistics landing page for the LABS research site with a distinct visual system (dual branding in header/footer), emphasizing women-in-AI themes through color and layout; delivered prototypes for PI review, shipped mobile-responsive HTML/CSS on a feature branch, and merged via PR under a two-week review deadline while keeping the page off the public Portal entry until release approval.
