LABS web: internship and platform delivery

My engineering delivery and upkeep on the public Columbia LABS portal—in plain terms, shipping the web pieces the lab needs for peer review and publication. MEDICINE (through ~Jan 2025): home/index, interaction, visitor traffic visibility, and download control are on the MEDICINE subpage. MUTATE: no separate page here; only this overview and the live URLs below. June 2025: first Sleep Chart build. 2026: Feb AI4Women, Mar TeaChart, Apr onward Guidebook plus follow-on Sleep Chart work. The next section lists workstreams by track; exact months sit in the timeline. Subpages expand the story; no credentials or private paths.

Workstreams (chronological)

Order: MEDICINE (subpage) / MUTATE → Sleep Chart → TeaChart → AI4Women → Guidebook. MUTATE stays on this overview + live URLs only.

  • MEDICINE portal (through ~Jan 2025) — peer-review–oriented interaction/IA, visitor/traffic visibility (“visitor map”), and download control (security, privacy, availability, access policy), wired to public result surfaces such as GWAS summary-statistics views. See subpage. MUTATE: home/index and alignment with Portals and sibling nav/chrome (no subpage here—overview and “Public URLs” below).
  • Sleep Chart portal (first build) (June 2025) — subsite + GWAS page, asset handoff after tooling change, temporary navbar hide, PR and research.html merge conflicts.
  • TeaChart portal (Mar 2026) — portal shell similar in spirit to Sleep Chart; GAM/multi-omic modules (BAG, proteomics, metabolomics, IDPs) rolled in as files landed; purple chrome aligned with sibling portals such as MUTATE.
  • AI4Women landing page (Feb 2026) — single-page stats showcase; distinct IA/visuals emphasizing women in AI; initially kept off the main Portal entry per PI; mobile and PR cadence on subpage.
  • Guidebook & access (Apr 2026) — invite-based signup, admin review, Firebase + Netlify; peer-review workflows; later Sleep Chart GWAS download maintenance (distinct from the 2025 first build).

Timeline (high level)

  • ~Jan 2025: MEDICINE-side upkeep concludes (see MEDICINE subpage); MUTATE timing not split out on this page.
  • June 2025: First Sleep Chart subsite and GWAS page (see Sleep Chart subpage).
  • Feb 2026: AI4Women page from briefs to PR and PI polish.
  • Mar 2026: TeaChart portal build-out as GWAS/omics tables arrived.
  • Apr 2026: Guidebook access; Sleep Chart portal maintenance such as GWAS downloads (see Guidebook page).
